Abstract: Legacy Unix systems such as Solaris and AIX remain critical components of enterprise IT infrastructures, but their integration with modern CRM engineering presents significant challenges. Salesforce DX offers modular development, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-driven capabilities through Einstein AI, enabling intelligent customer interactions and workflow automation. This review explores strategies to harmonize legacy Solaris and AIX systems with Salesforce DX, focusing on middleware connectivity, workflow automation, AI integration, and predictive maintenance. Security, compliance, and governance frameworks are examined to ensure regulatory adherence across hybrid environments. Practical case studies illustrate measurable improvements in operational efficiency, CRM performance, and AI-driven analytics. Emerging trends, including cloud-native extensions, AI orchestration, and DevOps-based workflows, are discussed to provide a forward-looking perspective. By implementing these strategies, enterprises can achieve scalable, secure, and AI-enabled CRM operations while preserving the stability and reliability of legacy systems.
