Abstract: Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems have become essential tools for integrating and managing core business processes across organizations. With the increasing demand for data-driven decision-making, the integration of analytics into ERP systems has significantly enhanced their capabilities. This study explores the role of ERP systems and embedded analytics in improving organizational efficiency, operational visibility, and strategic planning. It examines how modern ERP platforms consolidate data from finance, human resources, supply chain, and customer relationship management into a unified system. The paper further discusses the evolution of ERP systems from traditional transactional platforms to intelligent systems powered by real-time analytics, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing. Key analytics techniques such as descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics are analyzed in the context of ERP environments. The study also highlights critical challenges including data integration complexity, system scalability, high implementation costs, and user adoption issues. Emerging trends such as cloud-based ERP, AI-driven analytics, and real-time dashboards are also examined. The findings emphasize that ERP systems integrated with advanced analytics play a crucial role in improving decision-making, productivity, and competitive advantage in modern enterprises.
