Abstract: Digital payment systems have come as game changer in India's financial landscape, facilitating faster, secure and more transparent transactions. As the government is opting for a cashless economy and there is mass adoption of smart phones and Internet services, district such as a Erode are experiencing a revolutionary change in financial behaviors. This research focus is on the development, issues and future viability of electronic payments in the Erode district.
