Abstract: The ETL landscape is evolving rapidly, driven by the need for scalable, flexible, and efficient data integration solutions. This review examines the modern ETL stack, focusing on the combination of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). It explores the architecture of hybrid ETL pipelines, integration strategies, key cloud services, and best practices for automation, monitoring, and performance optimization.
