Abstract: Data analytics in cloud environments has become a crucial component of modern digital systems, enabling organizations to process, analyze, and derive insights from massive and diverse datasets efficiently. With the rapid growth of cloud computing, businesses are increasingly leveraging scalable and distributed infrastructures to support real-time and batch data analytics. This paper reviews the fundamental concepts, architectures, and technologies involved in cloud-based data analytics, including big data frameworks, distributed computing models, and serverless analytics platforms. It explores how cloud environments enhance data storage, processing speed, scalability, and accessibility compared to traditional systems. The study also examines key applications in domains such as healthcare, finance, e-commerce, and cybersecurity. Furthermore, it discusses critical challenges such as data security, privacy concerns, latency issues, and cost management in cloud analytics systems. Emerging solutions like AI-driven analytics, edge computing integration, and hybrid cloud strategies are also highlighted. The findings emphasize that cloud-based data analytics plays a vital role in enabling data-driven decision-making and business intelligence in modern organizations.
