Abstract: This paper examines the evolving relationship between transnational business governance, strategic management, international accounting standards, and geopolitical risks within the contemporary global business environment. As multinational corporations expand across increasingly interconnected markets, organisations face growing challenges associated with regulatory compliance, financial transparency, geopolitical uncertainty, digital transformation, and sustainability reporting. The study analyses how International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) strengthen corporate governance by improving financial comparability, investor confidence, and strategic decision-making across international operations. It further evaluates the influence of geopolitical risks, including trade conflicts, economic sanctions, cyber threats, and political instability, on cross-border governance and enterprise risk management. The paper also explores the role of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting, artificial intelligence, predictive analytics, and digital technologies in enhancing governance effectiveness and organisational resilience. The findings indicate that integrating strategic governance with robust accounting standards, technological innovation, and proactive risk management enables multinational organisations to achieve sustainable growth, strengthen stakeholder trust, and improve long-term competitiveness in an increasingly uncertain global economy.
